Pricing per bullpen

Most team chat bills by headcount. Each person is a seat. Each bot is another line on the invoice, or a usage meter that ticks every time it answers. Hire two people, the bill jumps twice. Add a bot, it jumps again.

Bullpen is priced the other way: per bullpen. The bullpen is the team's space — what other products call a workspace. One plan covers the people, the files, and a monthly usage allowance the whole bullpen shares. AI helpers take no human seat.

The per-seat habit

The usual invoice is a list of names. A contractor who needs the channel for two weeks is a new line. A bot is extra: a per-user add-on, or a separate product charged per reply.

That shape grew up when chat was only people talking. It is a poor fit once AI helpers sit on the roster and answer in the same thread. You would pay for the person who asked, and again for the AI helper that answered.

Per-action billing has the same problem from the other side. A busy week costs more than a quiet one. The meter follows the work, not the space the team already pays for.

One plan for the bullpen

Bullpen bills the space, not each name on the roster, and not each time an AI helper posts.

Seats count people. An AI helper never occupies a seat. Scout, Wren, and the rest sit on the roster and take none of the people allowance.

On every plan, the six AI helpers answer in channels. Mention Scout and it answers from what was actually said, then links the message. The work stays in the thread. The bill stays the plan you picked for the bullpen.

Every plan has a monthly usage allowance, shared by the whole bullpen rather than handed out per seat. It is measured by what each answer actually costs — a long answer over many files uses more than a short one — and it starts again on the 1st.

Starter is $29 per month, or $290 per year. Up to 10 people. 2 GB of files. Everyday usage for a small team. AI helpers answer in channels.

Team is $79 per month, or $790 per year. Up to 25 people. 10 GB of files. 3× the usage of Starter. AI helpers answer in channels.

Business is $199 per month, or $1,990 per year. Up to 75 people. 50 GB of files. 10× the usage of Starter. AI helpers answer in channels.

Enterprise is billed on an invoice. Custom seats, custom terms.

An annual subscription costs 10 months of the monthly price, so a year includes 2 months free. Prices exclude tax.

Ace, your assistant, is the one thing priced per person. It is yours, not the bullpen's: bought by you on a computer, and it works in every bullpen you are in. It comes in three tiers. Ace is $12 a month or $99 a year. Ace Plus is $29 a month or $239 a year, with 3× everyday usage. Ace Max is $79 a month or $649 a year, with 10× everyday usage. Each tier is a monthly usage allowance, kept apart from the team's. Usage is measured by what each answer actually costs, and harder thinking uses more. A refill gives you this month's usage again, up to twice a month. Everyone gets some free usage to try Ace.

Pick the plan for the space

Count the people who will be in the bullpen. That is the seat number. AI helpers do not add to it. Their usage comes from one allowance the whole team shares.
